FAILURE CONTEST THE FORGOTTEN WATER. Santiponce

Last day 5 June, meeting the jury indicated on the grounds, the >Contest THE FORGET WATER was made., sponsored by the Santiponce City Council and which yielded the following result:

– First Prize: HEALING. Juan Antonio Andrades Cordero

The jury highlights this project for considering original uses, viable and contemporary. Also, the possibility of setting many options of view levels at different heights in each of the trays raised is valued, including the lower square. The tower-basamento joint seems very good, as well as the decision to formally maintain the deposit as it is currently. In short, the proposal strikes the difficult balance between maintaining the essences of the deposit and the new image and life that is proposed for the same.

– Second prize: THE FOOTPRINT OF WATER . Jorge Martín Ramón and Janira Palomo Avila

The jury appreciates the interesting proposal of uses (zipline-lookout), as well as the successful approach to the deposit base, although it raises some doubts about the proposed prosthesis for the coronation of the deposit.

– Third Prize: IMMACULATE MARMOLEJO GARCIA

This project values both the sensitivity that the author demonstrates with the deposit, such as the operation carried out inside it with the proposed periscope, that prevents the creation of devices to set up to access their coronation by people with disabilities. He does not just convince the articulation on the ground floor of the new pieces proposed with the volume of the tank.

The awarding of Awards and the possible exhibition of the winning works, will be announced in a timely manner when possible

Congratulations to l@s ganador@s !!!!

Nuevo concurso RETHINKING – #022 UYUNI SALT FLAT SHELTER

The Uyuni Salt Flat Shelter contest seeks a re-encounter with nature and with the human being within loneliness. Acceleration, Instantaneity, Immediacy, technology… Human life has been subsumed under synchronous devices such as watch and mobile phone, generating a stressed society, who has lost all trace of his biological temporality and his life in common with the environment. Here, in the salt room, all the technology disappears. All computerization is not possible.
¿It can be from a project to foster other more leisurely lifestyles, relaxed and in relation to nature? ¿It can give us the chance to make up for that lost time? A time in dialogue with nature ¿What is the basis for making this kind of architecture?

SUSPENSION OF DEADLINES FOR RESOLUTION OF THE DEPOSIT SANTIPONCE CONTEST (By Covid-19 alarm state)

Dear:

As you know, all administrative deadlines are suspended since the start of the alarm state decree (14 March).

It is not possible to gather the jury since that day and therefore it has not been possible to issue the ruling this past Monday 30 as planned.

We do not even know whether it will be possible to deliver in the theoretical closing act envisaged for the 21 may.

Therefore, at the moment this Santiponce contest -- like life itself in general- is on hold, Asleep, standby, as if it were a permanent Sunday….until restrictions on mobility are lifted.

We'll keep you informed.

Greetings and luck

HONORONICAL MENTION Rural Tourism Accommodation Competition (Route) Vietnam Cristina Vivar, Beatriz González, Beatriz Fernández and Carmen Espinosa, ETSA Sevilla and Valladolid

Participated 104 proposals

Good news among so many misery. Congratulations to all !!!

NOTICE DELIVERY TFG AWARDS / PFC 2020

Dear students:

Due to the new situation of cessation of the administrative activity of the ETSA, all interested parties are informed that a deadline for the delivery of the physical documentation of the TFG/PFC award call will be reopened 2020, once the end of the academic cessation and administrative services at the University of Seville is decreed. These new deadlines will be communicated by the usual means in the ETSA once the date of the end of this situation is known.

For those who have already made the virtual delivery (online delivery is still operational to date March 17, 2020) and haven't yet delivered the physical panel, a new deadline will be established to supplement the days on which the closure of the ETSA Secretariat has not allowed physical delivery.

We will also extend the deadline for online delivery, in case someone has been affected in any way by the situation generated.

Greetings and encouragement to all these days,

Javier Lopez Rivera
